To the Park!
This was the last time we went to the park before school started last summer. The older kids are so good about pushing the younger ones on the swings and playing with them on the playground. It was pretty warm, so we didn't stay too long.

Zac and Sam Turn THREE!
Zac's and Sam's birthday was on Saturday this year. While Michael was out getting gifts, he got Annie groomed too.
The kids thought she looked so cute with the bows on her ears and on her collar.
Once Michael came home with her, we had dinner - hot dogs and macaroni and cheese. Then we opened gifts. Zac and Sam LOVED their gifts!
After gifts, we ate ice cream cake!
We lit the candles and sang "Happy Birthday" to Zac first.
Then we lit the candles again and sang to Sam!

First Day of School 2012
Katie, Zac, Sam, and I walked Eliza and Timmy to school on the first day of school on September 6th. Eliza is in fourth grade and Timmy is in first.
We had to leave pretty quickly because Zac and Sam started getting into stuff in Eliza's class.
After school, Nathaniel made a cake celebrating the first day of school. I got a picture of it after everyone had a piece. It said "Happy 1st Day of School!"
Six Flags 2012
Last year, we got season tickets to Six Flags Great Adventure. These are some pictures that I took one of the times that we went, just in case we lost anyone, we would have a picture of them! We knew from experience that we always lose someone at some point or other. It's usually the middle kids (read: Eliza). For the most part, we find them almost immediately. This trip, we didn't lose anyone - go figure! Needless to say, I was very grateful!

Re-commitment
A few months ago, our family computer died. Luckily, I had backed everything up on the internet. Unfortunately, the dates on almost all of our photos are wrong. The good thing is that I have some of the information on my blog. The bad thing is that I haven't updated it in so long that I am missing a lot of the dates...
So, I am determined to update a lot more often, especially since both sets of parents are far away now. So, mom and dad, you will be pleased to know that I will be posting pictures and stories again. I've really missed a lot of time, but I promise to make it up!
Here's some pictures that we took a couple of weeks ago:

Sleeping Upside-down - 11/13/2010
Katie loves to get into the babies swings and bouncy chair. This time, she got a little too comfortable. Sam is hanging out next to her.
First Day of School - 9/7/2010
I only got a picture of Eliza on her first day. The kids and I walked her to school, then as we were walking back home, we stopped and watched the buses dropping off the kids at the school.

Six Flags Great Adventure - 8/2010
Last year, we again got season passes to Six Flags. The kids had so much fun. These pictures were taken on August 14, 2010.
Six Flags has a young child area with a bunch of rides that Katie and Timmy could go on. It was really cute.
Michael got us some nachos and this is what he found when he opened the cheese...ewwww!
We cooled off a bit in the arcade and Nathaniel and Eliza played air hockey.
Jonathon, Christian, Nathaniel, and Eliza waited in line for 45 minutes to go on the log ride. I hope it was worth it!
These pictures were taken on August 31, 2010. I think Eliza is excited to go to Six Flags, again!
This groundhog had no fear of people, but just walked up and ate the food that was on the ground. The last time we went, I saw a racoon. The animals know where to go to find food!
The babies were so good. It was fairly hot this day, so I took Katie into a water area. I got the babies' shirts wet and rung them out so they were able to cool off. They stayed very happy as long as I kept their tummies full!

It is very difficult to get a serious picture of Michael. Jonathon tried 23 times while Michael and Timmy were on this ride and I didn't want to post them all, so here's two of them.
