Six Flags 2012

Last year, we got season tickets to Six Flags Great Adventure.  These are some pictures that I took one of the times that we went, just in case we lost anyone, we would have a picture of them!  We knew from experience that we always lose someone at some point or other.  It's usually the middle kids (read: Eliza).  For the most part, we find them almost immediately.  This trip, we didn't lose anyone - go figure!  Needless to say, I was very grateful!

Heritage Day

This year, I helped set up our township's Heritage Day. After I got home, the kids got ready and we went back. Jonathon and Christian helped run a booth with small games for kids and the rest of us (excluding Michael since he was at a meeting in Morristown) walked around.

The kids went on a couple of rides, like the elephant ride, one of those air-filled trampolines, and a small fun house.

Katie fell asleep while we were getting hot dogs and slept like this for about half an hour. We saw Whitney and her kids and they played on the playground while Katie slept.

Then we got some really expensive ice cream ($5 for a cone and $4 for a snow cone). We only got one of each... Then the kids rode on this trackless train.

Nathaniel, Eliza and Timmy got to go on a pony ride.

Then we went on a carriage ride.

The kids got to climb into a fire truck and rescue vehicle.

They had a small petting zoo.
By then they were starting to close up, so we grabbed Jonathon and Christian and called it a day... a fun day!
