Well, I finally did it! We've been wanting to start a family blog and here it is!Michael's parents came to visit a few weeks ago for Katie's baby blessing. She was blessed on July 13th. Her cousin, Spencer, was blessed on the same day, which made it even more special. It was so nice to have Michael's parents staying with us. Not because dad watched the kids a few times or because mom did the dishes and helped cook (well maybe a little!), but because the kids really enjoyed having them here. The kids, even Timmy, still talk about Grandma and Grandpa. I've been a little lonely without them here and the house has been a little messier! I wonder if they'll consider coming back soon? I don't think dad could stand being away from his dogs! This picture is of Michael's dad holding Spencer and Katie...so cute!
Michael and Jonathon just got back from a 3-day backpacking trip. They had a great time. It seems that this time it was a lot easier for Jonathon. Not only was his pack lighter, but I think he's getting stronger. They will be going on another backpacking trip in a couple of weeks that will be from Tuesday to Saturday. Wow!
Katie is getting pretty big. She rolled over on Sunday night. The kids had just gone to bed and Michael called me downstairs to watch her. Next thing I knew, all the kids were gathered around to watch! She rolled twice with them watching and she got a lot of cheering from them!
Christian is going to an allergist on Thursday the 31st. He has been wheezing and sneezing a lot off and on for the past year, so Michael and I would like to get him checked out. Hopefully, the doctor will be able to figure out what's been bothering him.
