Six Flags Great Adventure - 8/2010

Last year, we again got season passes to Six Flags.  The kids had so much fun.  These pictures were taken on August 14, 2010.

Six Flags has a young child area with a bunch of rides that Katie and Timmy could go on.  It was really cute.

 Michael got us some nachos and this is what he found when he opened the cheese...ewwww!

We cooled off a bit in the arcade and Nathaniel and Eliza played air hockey.

Jonathon, Christian, Nathaniel, and Eliza waited in line for 45 minutes to go on the log ride.  I hope it was worth it!

It is very difficult to get a serious picture of Michael.  Jonathon tried 23 times while Michael and Timmy were on this ride and I didn't want to post them all, so here's two of them.

This groundhog had no fear of people, but just walked up and ate the food that was on the ground.  The last time we went, I saw a racoon.  The animals know where to go to find food!

The babies were so good.  It was fairly hot this day, so I took Katie into a water area.  I got the babies' shirts wet and rung them out so they were able to cool off.  They stayed very happy as long as I kept their tummies full!

Twins - 8/13/2010

Here are some pictures of the twins when they were 2 1/2 months old.  The beautiful crocheted blankets were made by Michael's mother.  She also made snakes about the size of boa constrictors in the same colors.

The City and the Mets - 7/5/2010

Michael took his dad and the four oldest kids into New York City to see the house that they lived in when they lived in Brooklyn.  They also saw the park where he played and the school that he attended.  Then they went to a Mets baseball game.  Their first game at Citi Field.

Scout Camp - 6/2010

Jonathon and Christian went to Scout Camp last year from June 28 to July 3.  On Wednesday evening, the parents and siblings of the scouts were invited for dinner.  Michael took Nathaniel and Eliza with him.  I think Jonathon and Christian really enjoyed having their Uncle John, Uncle Scott and their cousin, Scott, there.

These pictures are from Wednesday, June 30th.  Since Jonathon and Christian forgot to bring a camera with them, Michael brought it with him when he went to visit.

Christian's tent was the cleanest of the troop, so the leaders stored the troop's items in his tent.

The kids walked across this cable from one pole to another.  They had a harness and a couple of cables, but it was still difficult.
